ENKA Preschool admits students into its 3-year-old, Pre-Kinder (Age 4-5), and Kinder (Age 5-6) year groups on a quota basis, which is set annually. Student interviews are held according to the order of the waiting list which is based on the application date.
After the candidate interviews are held, the parents are called for admission according to the candidate list. The parents who are invited for the admission should finalize registration within two days. Otherwise, they will lose their right to enroll.
Students who come from ENKA Preschool’s Kindergarten level (age 5-6) are directly eligible to enrol in ENKA Primary School. In addition to these students, if there are available places, students from the school’s waiting list are admitted through an interview.
Again, if there are available spaces, students are accepted into Grades 2, 3 and 4 through a transfer exam that consists of an oral part and a written part. The dates of the transfer exams, which are organized in May and August, are communicated to prospective parents.
Students who are successful in the exam and invited to register at the school, need to complete their registration within 2 days. Otherwise, they lose their enrollment right.
ENKA Middle School admits students to Grade 5 with transfer exams in accordance with the available quota, and in addition to the students who finish ENKA Primary School’s Grade 4. In the event that there are places available, students can be admitted to the other grades with the transfer exam.
The transfer exams take place in May and August as written and oral assessments.
Students who are successful in the exams and who are invited to register need to finalize their registration within 2 days. Otherwise, they will lose their right to enroll.
Students who graduate from ENKA Middle School can automatically enroll in ENKA High School. In the event that the quota has not been filled, students who have graduated from other middle schools, as well as those who have completed the Prep class, Grade 9 or Grade 10 at other high schools, may sit the written transfer exam and an interview. The successful ones are accepted to the school depending on the quota. The school administration determine written exam and interview dates in May and August and they are announced to candidates. Candidate students who passes the exam and receive the registration invitation but do not enroll in the school in two business days, will lose their right of registration. Transcripts from the student’s previous school and the Ministry of Education Equivalence Certificate is necessary for students applying from abroad.
